All is well here in the training world! Berlin is doing a great job. She will be getting her CGC award within the next 60 days (that is the goal!). So far we feel she is doing really well with her commands and the exercises she will be asked to complete during the evaluations.

Berlin and London have been out and about in our local neighborhood, but it’s time to get MOVING! The girls and I are excited to attend the Doggie Daze Festival and hope to spread the word about our organization.

Our new house came with a great mud hole………
The girls LOVE it and we recently FINALLY filled it in. However, they enjoy trying to find it again.
Thus, leaving my windows and their muzzles a reddish clay color. LOL
A few months ago we moved to North Carolina. That is one of the blessings and curses of a CEO that is married to Soldier. Berlin and London really enjoyed their vacation and travels. As you can see they relaxed a lot!

Living in a hotel for several weeks was ok. We really loved the Homewood Suites. They spoiled our pups and kids. It was great to feel “at home” without having one.
We want to thank everyone whose had a hand in this organization this year. Especially Cindy Allen from Great MaDanes whose been a wonderful resource. We are truly happy with our pups and all their progress. We are thankful to Norma Materne at Petsmart for the training and friendship this past year. We are also thankful for the Killeen Recreation Center and MetroPlex Hospital for allowing us to participate in their functions. We can’t say enough about all the Etsy Shops who’ve donated all the wonderful toys and collars. We are thankful to Monkey Drive for the t-shirts. If you haven’t received yours yet – we have appreciated your patience. Expect them sometime next week. We have several of you that have boxes ready.

Went to get the girls preventatives and their Bordetella shots today.
Berlin was 111.5 lbs at 10 months
London was 70.8 lbs at 6 months
This time Berlin went on the scale without any problems. Silly pup!! Both girls left with treats in their tummy and hugs.
Berlin and London really enjoyed the tree decorating! Our 17 month old really enjoyed handing Berlin some ornaments to give to me to put on the tree.

Happy Holidays Everyone!
We took the girls our for some socialization and then stopped by Starbucks to get a Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate. Normally my husband doesn’t ride the back seat, but he lost a bet to my seven year old. You know how parental follow through is… Ha.Ha! When I turned around I saw Berlin and London. It was just funny seeing how tall they are in the back. I guess as a Dane owner you KNOW they are big, but it doesn’t really occur to you always. Well it occurred to me in the drive through.
Living on the installation we go through the gates and the guards almost always say one of three things when we have our Danes with us:
“Whoa! Got horses back there?” (laughing or amazed)
“WhOA! THOSE ARE HUGE!!!” (as they step back)
“Those are really nice looking dogs” (ask to pet or wave)
I just want to say that I am SO glad my Danes LOVE the car. Every time we go for a ride they are happy, content and enjoying every minute.
